Big Improvements. (Without Big Interruptions.)
Your daily routine won’t change. Because our system fits the way physicians
already work, there’s no disruption to everyday workflow. Busy doctors don’t
need to train the system or adapt to complicated new equipment. In fact, they
don’t have to do anything differently.
Transcription Solutions works behind the scenes. Unless you’d like to implement
new digital recorders, your health professionals keep their own dictation equipment,
whether it’s a digital recorder, PC microphone or telephone recording. The
most important thing is that they’re comfortable with it.
We interface seamlessly with your system, automatically retrieving dictated
files as they arrive. Our partnerships with InterFix™ and ChartNet™ play
an important role here, electronically collecting files, directing workflow
and even fast-tracking urgent dictations. Critical stat files can be turned
around in as little as 15 minutes.
Our M*Modal technology converts the dictation to text, while identifying conversational
speech, detecting meaning and tagging medical terms. Nothing is lost in translation,
because the audio file is electronically attached to the matching text. Edits
are easily made by medical transcriptionists, who employ their own extensive
medical knowledge.
Transcriptionists also have access to BenchMark™ technology, a comprehensive
and continually updated database of physician and AAMT information. Stedman’s
reference library is also immediately available.
Once edited, transcribed text is also placed into chart form—using whichever
format your healthcare system requires. Simultaneously, every edited document
is sent to an archiving system (providing document redundancy), as well as
to our strong learning engine. Accuracy improves with each transcription, so
it’s not long before many reports are returned with minimal changes required.
When the document is transferred back to your healthcare system, a physician
can review it and add an electronic signature. Then, the shareable chart is directed
wherever your electronic medical records system requires.
